An Underground Sushi & Wine Experience Cape Bottle Room x OSOME have joined together to curate a pairing focused on seasonality and globally sourced fish and produce along side unique South African wines. A singular opportunity to meet the owners of one of our most exceptional wineries, Creation! Along with OSOME, our featured winemakers Carolyn and Jean-Claude will be guiding you through a flight of their wines as they are paired with a 15 course Omakase experience. Carolyn and Jean-Claude Martin are the powerhouse couple of Creation Winery, located in the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. Their wine is inspired by Nature and meticulously crafted by cellarmaster Jean-Claude Martin, each single-vineyard wine in this range is the ultimate expression of its terroir and indeed an exquisite and multifaceted artwork in its own right. It is an honor to have their wines and welcome them to Cape Bottle Room! OSOME applies Japanese cooking and preparation techniques, dry-aging methods, and procurement of unique delicacies for our guests in a omakase sushi driven tasting format.
